The Card Creator has been updated with new functionality for both the English and Deutsch versions. The Deutsch version is now also correctly showing Deutsch. :) Enjoy!

  • August 2, 2009 - 1:41 AM CDT

Most of the website has been updated successfully. The Deutsch version of the Card Creator is reading mostly as English right now, but that will be fixed soon. The Card Creator itself is functioning otherwise normally.

  • August 1, 2009 - 9:37 PM CDT

We just updated the website. Unfortunately, the Card Creator is down for a short while (one of us left his laptop at home with the code on it, and now needs to go home in order to send it to me). We'll hopefully have it back up and running very soon!

Check out our Twitter feed (now visible in the side of the page) for more up to the minute information!

Sorry we haven't been so active on the site lately. The update for adding German language support to the website is almost complete, but it's not quite ready yet. I added a page on Facebook for us recently, and we've also just added Lite versions of Shopping Aid and (as soon as Apple approves it) Study Aid to the App Store. I'm planning a couple of things that will hopefully coming soon: Facebook integration for Esteem Aid (because, how much more fun is it to be able to tell the whole world what your iPhone or iPod touch thinks of you?) and a new game.

As for the web site: Unfortunately, some of the modifications to the web site require the assistance of a friend of mine (who wrote the card creator amongst other assistance), and he just hasn't been available.

Please remember that, for the latest news and information, follow us on our Twitter feed: http://twitter.com/wetleafsoftware

There's an update coming to this site soon to add German language support. It's not quite finished yet.

We have a Twitter feed! This will probably become a larger trend if it isn't enough of one already, but you can find us on twitter at http://twitter.com/wetleafsoftware

Good news! I've updated the .csv importer for Study Aid!!

I've been recieving numerous requests to enable the .csv importer to handle Unicode files. Up until now, Study Aid, and the Card Creator did, but not the .csv importer. Well, it should handle them now. Please note: The .csv importer is still provided only "as is". If it doesn't work, you can e-mail me. I may be able to help. I may not.

Additionally, Shopping Aid 1.1 has been released, and Shopping Aid 1.2 has already been submitted to the App Store. (I've had a wave of last minute ideas for new features that have prompted these updates. Addtionally, I have been busy tweaking the performance on the scrolling of the lists.

Good news! Shopping Aid has been released!!!

You can find a link for its location on the Shopping Aid page. Additionally, the new version of Convert Aid was approved today as well. So, for those of you with that, you should be getting that update very soon!

Lastly, for all those who have been wanting better documentation for Study Aid, I did a massive update to the F.A.Q. page which I hope will help solve any and all questions concerning the usage of it.

  • November 12th, 2008 - 12:59 AM CDT

By now, as you may know, there is a new version of Study Aid available. It has a couple of new features. Namely: the ability to copy / move items between lists and the ability to selectively delete and export items. The button previously used for exporting will now prompt you for which of these things you wish to do. Also, I increased the font size in the textboxes, and added a little bit of color to some of the screens. I have not updated the website here with new screenshots yet, but I will try to get around to doing so this week. I also hope to finally expand the F.A.Q. section with more detail about how to import and export with Study Aid. Once again, not there yet, but I will try to do that this week or next week.

Secondly, I have submitted a new version of Convert Aid to the App Store. I enlarged the fonts on the custom conversion screen textboxes, and added a whole new category: Velocity.

And finally...I have uploaded Wet Leaf Software's newest program, Shopping Aid, to the App Store. It's not approved yet, but I'm hoping it will be in the next week or so. I just added a page for it tonight. Check it out! This is an awesome program. I have literally spent most of the last couple of months testing, tweaking, and improving it as much as possible while gearing up for a release. It's probably the most stable one I've written so far, and my wife and I use it ourselves all the time!

If you have any questions about it or any other Wet Leaf Software program, you can e-mail me at: support@wetleafsoftware.com

The new version of Study Aid has been approved, and should be available now in the App Store. You will require the iPhone 2.1 OS update in order to update Study Aid.

  • September 17th, 2008 - 1:05 AM CDT

I just uploaded a new version of Study Aid to Apple. Hopefully, they will approve it quickly! (It does, by the way, require the 2.1 update!) It contains a lot of minor changes people have been asking for and a couple of little bug fixes. Amongst other things, it will now:

    • Better handle imports from the Card Creator.
    • Allow the user to customize the font, question text color, answer text color, and background color.
    • Allow the user to "flip" the questions and answers on cards.

  • September 11th, 2008 - 2:33 AM CDT

By request, we now have a very simple .csv importer constructed and available. It is totally AS IS. We will try to integrate it into the site later, but, for now, you can access it here: CSV Uploader

Once again, it is totally as is. It may work for you. It may not. Quick note: It automatically assumes that the first row is a header row. So, if your CSV file contains only cards, please add a quick header row at the top. It will, after you upload it, ask you what the column numbers are for the question and answers. After selecting which column is which (it will also show you a simple preview of the .csv itself), clicking on the "Process for Study Aid" link will give you the same kind of URLs as the Card Generator does. Enjoy!

Just a quick heads up. On Saturday, the new version of Esteem Aid was approved. If you have it, you probably already know that though.

I am, at this moment, working on a .csv importer for Study Aid. It's going to be very "as is", but I think it should work for the majority of situations. I'll let you know when that's good to go.

  • September 2nd, 2008 - 9:13 PM CDT

Fixed a bug in the Study Aid Card Creator that prevented creating cards using certain unicode characters. The Study Aid app itself is fine, and was/is working properly in that regard.

  • September 1st, 2008 - 10:57 PM CDT

Study Aid is now available on the App Store!

I also submitted an update of Esteem Aid tonight to Apple for review. This will be version 1.2. Hopefully, all will go well, and it should be available by the end of this week or early next week.

  • August 30th, 2008 - 3:56 AM CDT

I mentioned last night that we were still working on the "Study Aid Card Generator" for the website. We had a rough draft quality beta up at that time. Well, now, we have the real thing. It's pretty cool.

  • August 29th, 2008 - 12:50 AM CDT

Yesterday, Apple pushed out the new version 1.1 of Convert Aid! We appreciate all those who have purchased it so far, and we hope you all enjoy the update. We have already begun working on version 1.2.

Additionally, we have added a page for soon to be released Study Aid program! I only have the beta version of the "Card Generator" for it up there at the moment. We should have the final version ready very soon. Please don't judge the "Card Generator" or "Study Aid" by the beta of the "Card Generator"! The final version will be drastically better! We are hoping for and looking forward to the success of both programs!

Lastly, I am also working on an update for Esteem Aid. I hope to have something ready to submit to Apple very soon on that as well.

Thank you to all the people who have supported and used our software! We hope you enjoy what's coming!
